A strong and appreciable move is taken by Qatar International Safety Centre (QISC) and the Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB) to standardize health and safety for workers in Qatar and GCC.

Qatar International Safety Centre (QISC) was established in 2001 to offer training solutions and is a part of the Madina Group. On the other hand Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB) provides support, training and accreditation for training providers with emphasis on quality. It is an awarding body for the engineering and construction industry.

The best part of this course developed is that it is a one day program developed exclusively for multicultural workforce. The content of the course will be local content aimed at developing generic safe work practices and basic behavioral safety practice developed to be of use within Qatar and throughout Middle East.
