Bitumen decanter: Safe method for bitumen heating
The bitumen decanter installed at this site compliments the asphalt drum mix plant. It is a small machine with capability of heating up to 18 barrels in approx. 60 mins time. The best part is that it is containerized and also can take in bigger barrels of 200 kgs. Bitumen. This unit is not mobile but it is designed to be easily installed and refitted in a quick time. The advantage of having this machine as close to an asphalt plant is that it can transfer liquid bitumen directly into the storage tank of the asphalt plant.

Safe method: This is a safe method is it employs indirect heating method to melt the bitumen.
Reliable process: The process is very reliable and simple as the hot gases will melt the bitumen from the barrels.

Optimum storage: The machine has ample storage space for bitumen which can be used and pumped out as and when required.
